Lillian Coran
Lillian “Lil” Coran passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025, in Lombard, Illinois, at the age of 94.
Lil was a longtime resident of Lombard and lived a long, beautiful life centered around love, family, and friendship. She was the beloved wife of the late William Coran and a devoted mother to Janet (Joe) Mueller, Bob (Jill) Coran, and Michele (Dave) Kats. Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren – Beth Mueller, Michael (Abby) Coran, Ashleigh (Frank) Riggio, Brian Kats, and Lauren Kats and her adored great-grandchildren, Riley, Reese, Frankie, and Joey, who lovingly called her “GG.” Lil shared a special bond with her dear sister Shirley (the late Russ) Bublitz and will be fondly remembered by extended family and dear friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and warmth.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM in the Hyde Park Room at Lexington Square of Lombard, 555 Foxworth Blvd. Please join us as we honor her by sharing a few of her favorite things—coffee, cookies, and ice cream. At 3:00 PM, a brief service will be held to share heartfelt prayers and cherished memories.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association would be kindly welcomed.
