Leonard Heinz

Leonard G Heinz age 92 lifelong resident of Lemont, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2023. He was the only child of Mary (Mather) and George Heinz. He attended St. Alphonsus Grade School and Joliet Catholic High School. He was a cosmetologist in Hinsdale for 50 years. Leonard was known for his love of ballroom dancing and was a “Willowbrook Sunday regular” for many years. He will be deeply missed by his best friends Jim Frank and Bob Johnson, Pat Frank, Erin O’Brien, Megan Frank, and cousins Bonnie (Rimbo) Swanson and Sue (Rimbo) Fejedelem. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 9:30 A.M until 10:30 A.M at Gerharz Funeral Home, 501 State St. Lemont, IL 60439. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Lemont.
