Debra Hostetler
It is with a heavy heart and great sadness to say, our mom Debra Jeanne Hostetler lost her battle with COPD on Thursday August 10th, 2023 at the age of 69. She has crossed over to the other side and greeted by her son Gabriel. Our mother was such a beautiful soul, raising six boys could not have been easy. She did so with such love, grace, passion and faith, we will never be able to repay her.
She was born in Patterson, CA. To John R. and Doris L. Martin
As she slipped away from this life, she was surrounded and survived by her husband Pat, children: Mikey (Teresa), Matthew (Leimomi), Lee, Josh (Karessa), and Zack. Her grandchildren: Hailey, Isaiah, Abbygale, Jazzy, Jayleen, Jr., Elizabeth, Emily, Tatiana and Brynlee. And her ex husband Harry. Preceded in death by her mom Doris, Father John, sister Vickie L. Blake and her son Gabriel.

Our mother lived a simple life, never really had much, but also never really needed much. She was rich in family and in love, and that was good enough for her.
She had six boys but raised so many more. Our friends were her kids also. She loved each of them as her own as they loved her. Most called her mama.
She touched many hearts. She greeted you with hi love, hi my angel, hi sweetheart, hi honey and always ended a conversation with I love you, uta uta, sweet dreams, and sleep with the angels.
She was a God fearing woman, always reading and writing in her bible. She prayed for those she loved every morning and night. She enjoyed her beer and wine and her puff puff. She could be a stubborn little old Portuguese lady and feisty at times as well. But she loved full heartedly. Her beautiful smile could light up a room and you knew just how happy she was.
We lost a beautiful, loving, sweet soul, but heaven gained an angel.
Rest in peace mama. No more pain, no more suffering. Until we meet again. Uta Uta, Sleep with the angels mom
