Leo Maynard Zufelt 02/19/1932-06/20/2025 

Leo Maynard Zufelt age 93, of Holbrook, AZ and passed away on Friday June 20, 2025, in Snowflake, AZ. He is proceeded in death by his parents Leo and Maggie Zufelt, four siblings, son Lowell, daughter Shanna, son Quinn, foster son Ray Gonzalez, and grandson Dustin. He is survived by his wife Ann of 27 years. His 6 children from his first wife are Son Kimm (Jeannie) Zufelt and their children Lacey, Tyson, Zachary, Payden. Son Thane (Toni) Zufelt and their children Krystal, Dustin, Kayleigh, Zane, Shane, Quinn. Son Trent Zufelt and daughter Carly. Daughter Machelle and her daughter Bridgette. Daughter Cindy Zufelt. Daughter Beatrice Zufelt and her children: Justin, Cori, Cody, Shanna. He has 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He has served as bishop and many other callings throughout his life. He served in the U.S Navy for almost 4 years including the Korean war. He was very talented and artistic. He excelled at creating things with his hands. He enjoyed hunting, rock collecting, leather work, being a horseman, creating and teaching silversmithing. He had a desire to journal and do his family’s history. He loved his family and enjoyed having reunions and getting visits or calls from them. He especially enjoyed all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be held on July 1st in Holbrook, AZ at The LDS Stake Center. A viewing will be at 9:30AM and funeral service at 11:00AM with a military salute following the service. The Burial will be July 2nd at the Cemetery in Redmesa, Colo.
