Leo Uchiyama

Leo Uchiyama passed away peacefully at home, April 16. He was born in San Jose, CA to Isamu and Haruko Uchiyama.

He ran a trucking business for 31 years and was married to his loving wife, Irene Uchiyama, for 57 years. Leo’s family will remember him for his easy-going attitude and passion for bowling and golfing.

Leo was loved by his siblings Raymond Uchiyama (late) and Helyn (late), Bob Uchiyama (Connie), Aiko Sugimoto-Miyamoto (Tom), Yuri Hiura and Paul (late), Emi Nakatsu (Hubert), Tom Uchiyama (Linda), Joanne Ikeda (Jake) and Michael Uchiyama (Alicia).

Leo will also be greatly missed by his extended family and dear friends.

A funeral service will be held at the Mountain View Buddhist Temple at 2pm PT on May 10 at 575 N. Shoreline Blvd., Mtn. View.. Relatives and friends are welcome.
