Lauren Cox
Lauren was born 59 years ago in Detroit, Michigan, to her parents Seigmond and Mignon Nelson. She is survived by her two sisters, Karen Villanueva and Kelley Nelson.
About 30 years ago, Lauren moved to San Francisco with Tracy Cox. They married, and later divorced, after 25 years of marriage.
Lauren loved to bake, and she received formal pastry training at the well-known Tante Marie Cooking School in San Francisco.
She was a private person who preferred a small circle of close friends. She had very selective taste, so if she said she liked something, or laughed with real enjoyment, you knew it was truly special.
Her sisters will deeply miss her soft-spoken voice, her steadiness, and the quiet depth that was uniquely hers.
