Larilee (Wise) Martin

Larilee F. (Wise) Martin passed away peacefully September 10, 2025, at the age of 79. She was born on Aug 2, 1946, in Warren Ohio to Adelbert and Lucille Wise. Larilee attended Harding High School where she was a proud member of the panther marching band. She graduated in 1964. She worked, married and raised her children here in Warren. She later moved to Atlanta between 1993- 2021 to be closer to her brother and mother.

She loved all animals, especially her cats, and would often watch other’s pets while they were out of town. She enjoyed sitting outside in the park at her condo laughing watching the birds and sharing the time with her girlfriends. She had the most witty personality that would crack you up she put many smiles on anyone who knew her. Her grandchildren loved her upbeat funny personality, dancing and being silly, leaving us with lots of fun memories.

Through her life she enjoyed being active playing racquetball, volleyball, aerobics, hiking and was an avid bowler. She enjoyed dancing and loved to attend dances where she would, waltz, jive, two step and swing. She loved music and had the most beautiful singing voice which she lent to many church choirs, car rides and family gatherings.Our mom was a caring and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed.

Larilee is survived by her daughters Jill (Joe) Kistler, Shari Martin (Dan Daniluk), grandchildren Cole, Natalie, Kaitlyn and Ashley, her brother Billy (Jane) Wise. Her parents, brother Tom Wise and sister Jacqueline Wise preceded her in death.

Thank you to all who helped take care of her. She definitely had a team. Special heartfelt thank yous to Ashley Chambers, Jeff Chambers, Lou Bragg, Armstrong Memory Care in Champion, Addison Health Care Center and Southern Care Hospice.

A Private burial memorial service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery. The family is in the care of Lane Funeral Home, Roberts-Clark Chapel with online condolences being made at www.lanefuneralhomes.com.
