Kristin Wipior

Kristin Bea Wipior was born the 29th of November 1952 in Miami Florida. Her parents, Henry and Marjorie Wipior, settled in Florida after WWII. Hank as an airline pilot for Eastern and Marge working for the Florida East Coast Railway thus contributing to Kristins adventurous nature. Other than brief stays in Daytona Beach and San Antonio, Kristin was a lifelong resident of Miami Dade County spending most of her years in Pinecrest. Kris was an avid traveler taking many trips to Europe, Mexico and the Caribbean experiencing new cultures and foods thereby sparking her lifelong interest in cooking. Kristin started her career managing a small chain of specialty food stores, before moving onto managing restaurants and then settling on a career in insurance working as an Allstate Insurance Agent. In her retirement, Kris lent her efforts to many social and progressive causes championing the rights and dignity of the individual and supporting candidates that had similar beliefs. Kristin passed away suddenly on Sunday May 18th 2025 from heart failure. She is survived by her brother Kurt and her many friends. Service will be held at Stanfill Funeral Home in Pinecrest Friday June 6th at 1:00 pm.
