Kevin P. Gileau

October 5, 1960 – September 17, 2025

Kevin Philip Gileau, 64, of Windham CT, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Hartford Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. 

Born in West Warwick, RI he was the son of the late Armand Gileau and the late Doris (Croteau) Gileau.  Kevin had a passion for cooking which he happily shared with others. Whether it be cooking for family and friends, serving customers in a restaurant or at a school cafeteria. Kevin cherished his time spent in Misquamicut with Bill, taking their last trip a month ago. He loved his dog, Kaia and treasured every stick she ever brought him. Kevin had an infectious laugh and a witty sense of humor. He loved making pizza and consuming an unreasonable quantity of fireballs with his daughter in her youth.

Kevin is survived by his loving partner of 13 years, Bill DiBenedetto, his daughter, Ashley Stanley (Jason) and his grandchildren Jack, Luke, and Aubrey. His siblings Brad Gileau and his wife Lisa of Florida, Gale Gileau and Denise Marshall, both of Thompson. In addition to his grandchildren he is survived by one niece, Carrie Machamer and her husband Josh, two nephews Matthew and Brett Gileau, and three great-nieces Kayleigh Norris, Faith and Pheobe Machamer.
