Kenneth Halteman

Kenneth Dean Halteman, age 85, of Roach, Missouri passed away on July 20, 2025 at Laurie Care Center. He was born on April 23, 1940 in Cardin, Oklahoma; a son of Walter Hugh  and Florence Louise (Wright) Halteman. 

Ken was a very kind person. He made deep connections with people he met that led to lasting friendships. He loved the Chiefs, car racing, his flowers, hummingbirds and all animals. He had lived full time at the Lake for 50+ years and loved it, this was his paradise. One of his favorite things was the daily happy hour gathering with his neighbors. Friends became family and we will all miss him.

Survivors include daughters Vickie Childress, Becky Abts (Bryan) and Kelly Crickmore (Pat). Grandchildren Shelby Abts and Jenna Halteman and great grand daughter Calliope.

Preceeded in death by both parents, wife Karen Halteman, son Kenneth Halteman II, brother Rick Halteman, sister Connie Edie and son-in-law Jeff Childress.

Per Ken’s request there will be no service. The family thanks everyone for their prayers and support.
