Keith Aldan Phelps, 64, of Delaware, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the Ohio State Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital, following heart complications.
Born May 26, 1961, in Delaware, Ohio, he was the son of the late Harvey and Carrie (Adkins) Phelps. Keith attended Buckeye Valley High School and, on September 27, 1985, married the love of his life, Cheryl Mullins. Together, they shared 40 years of devoted marriage.
Keith dedicated 30 years of service as an Environmental Specialist at Scotts Miracle-Gro in Marysville. A man of deep faith, he was a committed member of Eastside Mission Church. He loved golfing, watching Ohio State football, reading his Bible each night, and spending time with his cherished family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl; daughters Kristina Phelps and Jamie (Tim) Curren; grandsons Gavin (Kaylee) Curren and Landon Curren; great-grandson Axton Curren; siblings Faith Ann Richardson, Elaine (Brad) Wilson, Wyvonna (Kenny) Calhoun, Wyvetta (Dale) Hoffman, Becky Rucker, Jeff (Helen) Phelps, Milisa Phelps, and Ella (Tony) Loudermilk; sister-in-law Karen Phelps; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Linda Patrick and Beverly Beam; brothers Kevin, Greg, and Wayne Phelps; brothers-in-law Mark Rucker, Bill Richardson, Donald Patrick, and Jim Beam; sisters-in-law Phyllis Blackburn and Melinda Mullins; and his in-laws, Bert and Bonnie Mullins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Snyder Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive at W. William St, Delaware. A celebration of life service will follow at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Donnie Akers. Burial will take place at Marlborough Cemetery, with a luncheon to follow in the Snyder Funeral Center Community Room.
