Kayden Gibbs

It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Kayden Tyler Gibbs, who left us far too soon on August 16, 2025, at the age of 21.

Born on May 1, 2004, Kayden was a beloved son, uncle, father, brother, grandson, and friend. He brought light, laughter and love into the lives of all who knew him.

Kayden’s journey was not without struggle. He faced many challenges; battles that he carried with quiet strength and courage. Though these struggles weighed heavily on him, they do not define the fullness of who he was. Kayden will be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and the deep love he had for those around him.

He leaves behind memories that will be treasured always, and a reminder of the

importance of compassion, understanding, and support for those living with mental health challenges.

Kayden will be forever cherished by his son Kaysin, mother Ashley, father Darren, sisters Brooklyn and Haylynn, brothers Dylan, Taiden and Brandon niece and nephews Brielle, Bryce, Brady, Bryant, grandparents Paul, Matilda, Fran, and his predeceased grandfather Mark, as well as his extended family and friends.

Though his time here was far too short, Kayden’s impact will continue in the hearts of those who love him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A service to celebrate Kayden’s life will be held on Monday, August 25th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Boardman/Northland Funeral Home in Thompson, Manitoba. Cremation to follow.
