Kay Hineman

Kay Berry Hineman, 79 of Belpre, Ohio died on October 24, 2025 at the Lancaster House in Marietta, Ohio.  She was born July 20, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Clovis and Lenna Eva Lofon Berry.  She taught school for 35 years with 29 of those being at the Little Hocking Elementary School in Little Hocking, Ohio.  She enjoyed volunteering for BAM, had been a Jaycette, was a member of the Quilting group at the Belpre Congregational Church, had worked with the Home Economic in Washington County, Ohio.  She also volunteered at the Historical Society and Museum at Farmer’s Castle in Belpre.  She had been a part of the Women’s Fellowship at the Belpre Congregational Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Anne Hineman Weiner (Thomas) of Belpre, two grandsons, Timothy and William Weiner of Belpre.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rod Hineman and a son, David Hineman.

Services will be on Tuesday at 5:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Jeffery Atwater officiating.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 PM till service time at 5:00 PM.  Graveside services will be on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Ridgelawn Cemetery, Mercerville, Ohio.
