Kathy King

Kathy Ann King age 61, formerly of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 11, 2025, at 2:30 pm in the King-Meadows Cemetery at 1290 Meadows Grove Road, Pine Knot, KY 42635. Burial will follow.

Kathy was born on December 18, 1963, in Whitley City, Kentucky, to Gaylon King and Lois Ball King. She was a member of the Trinity Temple Church of God. Kathy found joy in life’s simple pleasures she was a true movie buff, loved music, enjoyed swimming, and most of all, cherished caring for her family.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors include her son, Jonathan Manning, daughter, Mikayla Dixon, and husband, Robert, and three grandchildren, Jace, Rhylan, and Zayn.
