Kathryne Parks

Kathryne A. Parks, age 84, of Faribault died on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the Emeralds of Faribault.

A celebration of life will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Faribault on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Faribault for one hour prior to the services on Thursday.

Kathryne Anne, the daughter of William Arlin and Genevieve Rita (Dady) Honken was born on August 6, 1940, in St. Peter. She graduated from Waterville High School. Katheryne married Kylo Aulbon Parks on January 11, 1960 in Waterville. Kathy loved to paint, do crafts and travel. She babysat many children over the years. Her and Kylo had 12 exchange students live with them during school years. She taught a painting class for the Regional Center in her home.

She is survived by her husband, Kylo; brother, Kenny Honken; and many other family members and friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Rita Stangler, Donna Voegele, Joyce Anderson and William Honken.
