Kathryn “Kathy” Louise (Rowley) Wright

Kathryn “Kathy” Louise (Rowley) Wright, 63, of Owosso, passed away on June 12, 2025.

Born on November 19, 1961, in Laingsburg, Michigan, Kathy was the cherished (and only) daughter of Jimmy and Theresa (McDonald) Rowley.

A graduate of Owosso High School, class of 1980, Kathy was known for her caring nature. Her heart was devoted to fostering animals through New Hope Pet Rescue, exemplifying her compassion. Whether tending to her beloved flower beds or relaxing on a sun-kissed beach, Kathy found joy in the simple pleasures of life.

Above all, she was a loving grandmother, finding immense happiness in the company of her grandchildren (bio and bonus, equally loved) —Ashley, Abigail, Aubrey, Daniel, Ryanne, Ela, Hailey, and Paislee.

Kathy is survived by her children, Krystal McCoy and Daniel (Rose) Wright II; her father, Jimmy Rowley; brothers, Jim Rowley II, Don (Jan) Rowley, and Laro (Jane) Rowley.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Theresa Rowley, and her brother (and best friend), Mark Rowley.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 22nd from 3:30p-6:30pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles – Owosso.

In honor of her memory, memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Pet Rescue, an organization dear to her heart.
