Whether it was her frequent trips to the casino or the cherished moments she spent in Destin, sitting on her favorite balcony with her cousin Beth Meisel, Karen truly appreciated the simple pleasures that made life special.

Above all, Karen was a family woman. Her love for her family was fierce and unwavering, and she took great pride in nurturing her relationships with them. She was a warm, kind, and generous soul who brought joy to all who were close to her. Karen’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her and she will be deeply missed.

To honor Karen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be planned at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you remember Karen’s love for life and family and hold your loved ones close.
