Kalondra “Loni” Nealy was born on February 24th, 1981, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Paul and Viola Nealy.
Along with her parents, Loni, as she was affectionately known, became a charter member of Westside Baptist Church when she and her parents relocated from Tulsa to Lewisville, TX. She was the first WBC baby.
Loni was educated in the Lewisville Independent School District. She attended Central Elementary, Donald Elementary, Forestwood Middle School, Delay Middle School, and was a proud graduate of Lewisville High School. She continued her education at North Central Texas College.
Loni loved people, and because of her loving nature, those she came in contact with couldn’t help but love her too. With her big smile and hearty laugh, she never met a stranger. While at Lewisville High, she really enjoyed dressing up and attending the annual Grand Ball. Each year she would wear a new, tailor-made outfit, along with sparkly jewelry and beautifully coiffed hair.
Loni was loved by all of her teachers, especially Mrs. Linda Seabrook. Loni made her class lively with her flavorful word choices. She was a member of the WBC Children’s Choir and attended the Sunday School Classes #2 and #5.
Loni enjoyed going to the movies with her brother Matthew. She loved her nights out with family and friends at some of her favorite restaurants, especially Chili’s and Red Lobster, and she could name them All!! Loni loved to watch her movies and TV shows. Her favorites were “Cooley High” and “The Bernie Mac Show”. You would hardly ever not see Loni without her headphones and CD or MP3 player. She loved her Oldies and her Gospel music.
Loni was preceded in death by her Grandparents Monie Toler, Minnie Christian, Leroy Nealy, and Glenell Jones, her Uncles Carl Nealy and David Jackson, and her Aunts Dorothy Stewart and Betty Smith.
Loni leaves to cherish her memories, her parents, Paul and Viola Nealy, and her brother Matthew Nealy.
She also leaves her Aunts Almetta Jackson, Reba Pindell (Joe), Cynthia Nealy, her Uncles Marcus Nealy (Tammi), Kenneth Nealy, Frank Nealy, Andrew Nealy (Marsha), and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
Loni never gave up on life and faced her many health challenges with dignity, grace and perseverance. And by the Grace of God, she fought through life the best she could.
