Junior Ranger Day Camp coming to Dayton State Park
Over this three-day camp, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities, crafts, outdoor exploration, and cooperative games.

Nevada State Parks invites children between the ages of 9-12 to join us at Dayton State Park for the annual Junior Ranger Day Camp. Come enjoy the outdoors and discover the park’s natural and cultural resources!

Over this three-day camp, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities, crafts, outdoor exploration, and cooperative games. A daily snack and all program materials are included. Space is limited and registration is required by July 11, 2025. Please email Kristin Sanderson to register, ksanderson@parks.nv.gov.

WHAT: Junior Ranger Day Camp

WHEN: Tuesday, July 15 – Thursday, July 17, 2025, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Additional details will be made available at time of registration.

WHERE: Dayton State Park, 825 U.S. Highway 50 East, Dayton, Nev.

WHO: The program is open to the public and hosted by Nevada State Parks.

COST: $15.00 registration fee. Registration fee based on the park’s daily, per vehicle entrance fee (3 days x $5 per vehicle = $15). Registration fee is due on the first day of camp.
