Joyce Wise

Joyce A. Wise, 64 of Ashland passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025 in University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center.

She was born on September 21, 1960 in Brooklyn, New York the daughter of the late William and Rose (Bongiovanni) Kohlman.

Joyce graduated from East Stroudsburg South Senior High School, Class of 1978. She furthered her education and earned an associate degree from University of Phoenix.

She was actively employed throughout her life as a business owner and a nurse’s assistant.

Joyce is survived by three sons, Michael Wise of San Diego, California, Ryan Wise of Tampa, Florida, and Thomas Wise of Ashland; three sisters, Linda, Nancy, and Sue; and one brother, Bill.

In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her grandchildren, Sophia Lynn, Silas James, and Justin Scott Wise.

In keeping with her wishes, no services will be observed.
