Joyce Peters
Joyce Kathern Peters, 84, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025, in Santa Clara, California.
Born in Oklahoma on January 21, 1941, Joyce lived a life grounded in love, family, and curiosity. She was married to the late Marvin Ray Peters, with whom she shared many cherished years until his passing in 2007. Together, they raised two children, Steven Ray Peters and Dana Peters Stevens, who were her greatest joy. She was also a devoted grandmother to Skylar and Carson Peters, who brought light and laughter into her life.
Joyce had a passion for exploring her family’s roots through ancestry research, and she dedicated countless hours to uncovering and preserving her family history. She was also a talented seamstress who loved to sew, creating beautiful pieces with care and creativity. Her hobbies reflected her love of tradition and her desire to leave something meaningful for the generations that followed.
She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and devotion to those she loved most. Joyce’s legacy of love, curiosity, and creativity will continue to live on through her family.
Services will be held in Salem, Oregon.
