Joyce Arnold

Joyce Arnold, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died peacefully on May 21st 2025. She was 92.

Joyce was born on November 15th of 1932, in New Rochelle, to the late Maynard and Lucille (Elliott) Anderson. Joyce was a social butterfly and would get along with anyone in her presence. She found pride through her job at Tuck Tape where she was a secretary for account payable, but it truly added value to her life. Her love for all things Disney drove her passion for finding unique, one of a kind antiques that filled her house and heart with so much joy. This extended to her weekend shopping trips with her friend Ingrid, who showed her that friends can be family too.

Joyce spent more than 70 years married to the late Robert C. Arnold as they grew their life, love and family together in New Rochelle. They raised their 4 children to be kind, humor loving people who know the value of family. She is survived by her daughters Beth Brencich (John), Lynn Arnold, and son Robert Arnold (Debbie), daughter in law Susan Arnold and sister in law Angela Anderson. She is also survived by her grandchildren Robert (Deanna), Anthony, Jennifer, and Brianna Arnold. She adored her grandchildren more than anything in the world.

She is predeceased by her son Gregory Arnold and Brother Maynard Anderson.

As we celebrate Joyce’s life, let’s all rejoice with some of her favorite things; simple happiness can be found in a can of Pepsi, a bag of lays, or a slice of homemade crumb cake.
