Joy Zweigle

Joy May Zweigle, 92, of Loveland, Colorado, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025. She was born on May 3, 1932, in Lindsborg, Kansas to Jimmy Mclennan Hart and Annabelle (Hull) Hart.
Joy was born and grew up on a farm attending a country school in Lindsborg, Kansas. She loved the animals on the farm and carried that love for animals throughout her life. Joy enjoyed teaching Sunday school and alongside her husband, Junior Lee Zweigle, led high school youth groups. Everywhere she went, Joy would ask strangers if they knew Jesus. She will always be remembered as a confidante by her children, nieces, nephews, countless others, a child of God, a spiritual warrior who would often be found studying her Bible, Jesus was her friend and savior.
The name Joy was suited very well to her, as she always brought laughter wherever she went.
Joy loved to crochet beautiful blankets for her children and grandchildren. Mom loved her flower garden, bird watching, feeding redbirds, hand-feeding her favorite squirrel, Benjamin. Mom and dad enjoyed worship together and thrifting on weekends.
Joy is survived by her children, Jim Zweigle, David Zweigle, Linda Zweigle Guildner, Lee Zweigle, Jeffrey Zweigle, Hartley Zweigle, 23 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jennifer, April, Jonathan, Hannah, Jessica, Bradley, Brock, Bethany, Brianna, Abby, Bryson, Andrea, Clara, Lilly, Brandon, Taylor, Michael, Nicholas, Landon, Kaleb, Jacob, Makenzie and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother; siblings, Charlotte Ails, Jane Goble, Albert Hart, Grandchildren, Brent Zweigle and Lynnea Zweigle.
A visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Allnutt Funeral Service-Hunter Chapel, 2100 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland, Colorado. A brief service will take place at 4:30 p.m.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2025 at Elmwood Cemetery, 1501-1571 E. Swensson Ave., Lindsborg, Kansas.
The family invites attendees to wear pink, which was Joy’s favorite color.
