Joseph Aiello

Joseph J. Aiello, III, 42, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany. He was born in Rome on January 14, 1983, a son of Joseph and Terry (Grau) Aiello, Jr. He was educated in Rome Schools.

For the last 21 years, Joe has been working alongside his older brother, Angelo, at Marcellus Overhead Door. Together they installed and serviced hundreds of garage doors for customers.

Joe loved to fish Lake Delta and deer hunt and he was a member of the NRA. He was a talented musician and enjoyed playing his guitar.

Joe is survived by his parents, Joseph and Terry; two brothers, Angelo and Michael; special nephew, Angelo Jr.; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Betty Aiello; maternal grandparents, Robert and Lee Grau; aunt, Anne Aiello; and uncle, Alan Aiello.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 7th, at 11:00 am. at the North Steuben Cemetery on Buck Hill Rd. There are no calling hours.
