Elizabeth Pinero

Elizabeth A. Pinero, Aged 68 of Ridgewood, NJ passed away peacefully at home on June 29th with her loving husband Charlie Havelka by her side. She was predeceased by her father Herbert Pinero (2000), her mother Alice Pinero (2025), her Brother Herbert Pinero Jr. (2023), and her sister Marie Engler (1989). 

She was born in Manhattan, New York but grew up in Ridgewood, NJ. She was a graduate of Immaculate Heart Academy (1975) and St. Peter’s University (1979). She was an Executive Assistant in Pediatrics at Englewood Hospital for over 30 years before retiring (2023). 

She met her husband Charlie while working at Rock Ridge Pharmacy in 1979 and was married in 1983 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Ridgewood. She will be missed by friends and relatives. She was known for her quick wit and helpful hand with everyday needs.

In lieu of flowers donations to the American Diabetes Association (For Type 1 Diabetes) and the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc would be greatly appreciated.
