Jonathan Williams

Jonathan Gary Williams was born on October 31, 1980, to Gary and Bobbie Williams in Searcy, Arkansas.

Jonathan was raised in Jacksonville and Sherwood, Arkansas. But he also spent a lot of time in Hickory Plains, Arkansas, where his grandparents lived. During his youth, he developed a love for the outdoors, dogs, and football (he played on both his junior high and high school football teams). As a child, he so desperately wanted a pet dog that he tied a rope around his stuffed dog toy and placed it in a doghouse in his backyard. Thankfully, after that incident, he would have several real pet dogs throughout his life.

Jonathan was a devoted partner, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and, most importantly, a father who cherished spending time with his children. He enjoyed traveling, and Dallas, Texas, was one of his favorite destinations. He loved being outdoors, and you would often find him doing yardwork. Jonathan was also a lover of old cars, especially Cadillacs. He also enjoyed reading.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his father, Gary Williams, and grandparents: Emmett and Rosetta Williams, and Roy and Aseliner Scruggs.

Jonathan passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025. Jonathan leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his partner, QueLinda Tillman, his children: Brandon Williams, Travontae Burnett, Jonah Williams, Khennedei Williams, Quentin Williams, and Quincy Ausler; his mother, Bobbie Williams; and his siblings: Daytoria (Tiffany) Williams and Sonya (Kedric) Kendall; his nieces and nephews: DeShawn (Chloe) Cooney, Xavier Turner, Justin (Lyanna) Williams, Olivia Williams, Morgan Williams, Kason Kendall, Isabel Kendall, Karter Cooney, and Kingston Williams. He is also survived by a host of extended family and dear friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
