Johnny Andrew Moore, age 72, of Irvine, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, peacefully at his home after a long illness.
John was born on March 31, 1953, in Irvine Kentucky to the late Fred and Christine Powell Moore.
Along with his father, Johnny is also preceded in death by three brothers; Billy Ray Seals, Marcus Moore, and Russell Moore and one sister-in-law; Yvonne Moore.
John is survived by his loving mother Christine Powell Moore, two children; Melissa Young-Flynn and John Douglas Moore (Christy), two grandchildren; Dylan Moore (Madalyn) and Kyden Flynn, one great grandchild; Colton Moore, three brothers; Harold Moore (Angie), Rick Moore, and Freddie Moore, along with several nieces and nephews to miss him and mourn his passing.
John was a man with a huge heart. He was thoughtful and considerate of others, always looking for a way to help someone. His son and daughter were the light of his life. Nothing made him happier than having them and his grandsons all together with him. He loved his family. John was a man who loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He loved telling stories about days gone by. Memories of old friends and family. John was a family man, a dedicated son, father, brother and uncle. He was a great man and will be greatly missed. Many hearts broke the day he passed but he will never be forgotten. Until we meet again…. “Be Good”.
Funeral services for Johnny Andrew Moore will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 2:00 P.M in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals. The family will be conducting the services. Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M until the time of the service. Family has chosen cremation after the service.
