John Nishioka

John Thomas Nishioka, age 74, died the morning of Thursday April 3, 2025. He will be reunited with his cherished wife, Carol (d. 2007). He was the devoted father of Kristina (W. Matthew Ushijima) Nishioka and will be sadly missed by his treasured grandsons, Dylan John Nishioka and Kristopher M.N. Ushijima. He is preceded in passing by his sister, Susan Nishioka, and is survived by siblings, Ann Nishioka and Frank T. Nishioka.

Visitation will be held on Friday April 25 from 3 to 8 pm at Lakeview Funeral Home 1458 W. Belmont Ave. Chicago IL 60657. Memorial service at the same location on Saturday, April 26 at 10 am. Private interment at Montrose Cemetery at a later date.

Flowers and/or memorial contributions to PAWS Chicago or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital are equally welcome.
