John K. Barnes
Passed away at Covenant Healthcare on September 16, 2025 at the age of 90, following a heart attack. He was born in Comins, MI, the son of the late Kenneth and Rosaleen (Hand) Barnes. He was united in marriage to Marilyn “Sue” Laubach on June 28, 1958 in Saginaw, MI. John owned Barnes Central Heating & Air Conditioning in Bridgeport, MI for 40 years. John was a long-time member of the Elks Club and the Fordney Club. He enjoyed wintering on Marco Island. John will always be remembered for being a loving and caring person devoted to his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, M. Sue Barnes, his sister Judy, Lansing, his daughters and their husbands; Kelly & Chick Ramsay of LaQuinta, CA and Kristen & John Tsiros of Saginaw, MI, 2 grandchildren: Alex and Kaylee Tsiros, Dimitri and Abby Tsiros and 2 greatgrandchildren: Theo and Henry Tsiros. He was predeceased by a brother Max (Tyke) Barnes and grandson, Loukas Tsiros.
Funeral services for John will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, September, 19, 2025 at Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. Pastor Bill Bodnar will officiate. Visitation will also take place on Friday, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
