Jesse Martinez

Jesse P. Martinez, 76, of San Antonio, Texas, (formerly of Chicago) passed away peacefully at home on May 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on December 28, 1948, Jesse lived a life rooted in service, dedication, and love for family. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before embarking on a distinguished 30+years career at Merrill Lynch, where he was known for his integrity, work ethic, and mentorship.

Jesse is survived by his devoted wife, Josephine Paez-Martinez, his children, Jesse L. Martinez, Felicia G. McLoughlin (Cory), Daniel Quiros (Samantha), Joseph Quiros (Shana), and David Quiros (Karyn). He also leaves behind his cherished siblings, Joseph Martinez, Sara Gonzalez, Rosemary Rodriguez (Richie), Roberto Martinez, John Martinez (Maria).

A beloved grandfather to many and the favorite uncle to countless nieces and nephews, Jesse’s warm spirit, infectious smile and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

His legacy of love, service, and strength lives on through his family and all whose lives he touched.
