Jeryl Caporaso

Jeryl Ann Caporaso, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. She was 68 years old.

Born on March 9, 1957, in Rosedale, Queens, New York, she was the third of four daughters of the late Gennaro and Gloria Caporaso. She attended Christ the King High School, where at age 16 she met her future husband, Pat Campbell, with whom she shared 40 wonderful years of marriage. Together, Jeryl and Pat raised three sons, Patrick, Kevin, and Jeremy, who were her greatest joy and proudest achievement. As a devoted and loving mother, she poured her heart into creating a warm and nurturing home in West Windsor, New Jersey, where she cherished every moment of raising her family.

Jeryl was a fierce advocate for her children, supporting them in every step of their endeavors, from visiting Lourdes, France with her son Kevin, to encouraging all three of their Jesuit educations. She stood proudly by their side and was actively involved in Cub Scout Pack 40, where all of her sons began their scouting journey. Eventually, they each went on to achieve the rank of Eagle, an accomplishment she cherished.

Jeryl will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering dedication to her family, and her remarkable strength. She was an extraordinary wife, mother, and role model, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience.

Daughter of the late Gennaro and Gloria (Stigliabotti) Caporaso, she is survived by her husband, Patrick C. Campbell; her sons, Patrick G. Campbell, Kevin C. Campbell, and Jeremy P. Campbell; 3 sisters and 3 brothers in law Cathy and Peter Luisa, Gail and Louis DeFabrizio, Ellen and John Puglisi and countless family members and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Her spirit will live on in the love of her family and in the lives she touched.
