Jerome “Jerry” Faris

Jerome P. “Jerry” Faris, 87, passed away at home in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on August 9, 2025. He was born May 20, 1938, to James and Josephine (David) Faris.

Jerry was a proud Lebanese-American who served in the Army Reserves. He happily spent his life in Fond du Lac and retired from John Deere.

Jerry was a loyal friend and father. His most treasured memories were of taking road trips to Montana with his closest friend Joe Roblee, raising his son Anthony as a single father, maintaining close friendships and riding his horse to Friday night football games.

Jerry was a studied historian who could have rivaled any scholar and his humor, and personality was smart and magnetic.

Jerry will be dearly missed by his sons Anthony (Teresa) Faris and Christopher Faris; siblings Thomas (Marilyn) Faris, Davis (Kathy) Faris, and Carol “Bunny” (John) Gormican, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Meals on Wheels.
