Janet Elio

Janet B. Elio, 77, passed away April 28, 2025, at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in Hoboken, she graduated from Woodbridge High School, and was formerly a resident of Sewaren before moving to Cranford where she has resided for over twenty years.

Friends and relatives are invited for a memorial visitation on Friday, May 2, from 5-7:30 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 218 North Ave. West, Cranford, NJ, 07016. A committal service will be offered at Fairview Cemetery, on Saturday at 11 am.

Janet was a talented artist, and was good at making different arts and crafts. She enjoyed gardening, especially planting flowers. She was also an avid nature lover, she cared for all wildlife but her favorite were birds. Above all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Sophie DiSalle; her son-in-law, Jason Manning; and by her grandson, Dillon Manning.

Surviving are her beloved daughters, Kristina Kozak and her husband John Kozak III; and Mandy Manning; her loving grandchildren, Alexander and Russell Kozak, and Kaitlyn and Riley Manning; her brother, Robert DiSalle and her sister-in-law Barbara DiSalle; as well as her niece, Lisa, and nephew, Brian DiSalle.
