Donald Lorenz
Donald H. Lorenz, age 95 of Somonauk, IL passed away at his home on Friday, April 25, 2025. He was born on March 29, 1930 in Chicago, IL the son of Harry and Ida (Brennenstuhl) Lorenz.
Mr. Lorenz was united in marriage to Miss Doris Anderson on August 11, 1951 and they spent the next 65 happy years of lives together until her passing on October 17, 2016. Donald was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was employed for many years in sales until his retirement. Donald was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle who will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Steven Lorenz of Somonauk, IL and Susan (John) Greene of Somonauk, IL; his sister, Roy (Gloria) Lorenz of Batavia, IL; as well as several nieces.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ida Lorenz; his wife, Doris Lorenz; and his brother, Charles Lorenz.
