Jane Bell

Jane Bell, 90, wife of David E. Bell, passed away at home on Monday, June 16, 2025. She was born in Bellville, Ohio on April 1st, 1935, to the late Elenaor and Albert Keller. She loved her Lord, Jesus, and knew her home was with Him. Jane joined her son David Mark Bell, brother William Keller, sister Ruth Anne Heichel.
In addition to her husband of 68 years, David, those left to cherish her memory include her son Craig Bell, her sister Beverly Keller, her brother Kennith Keller, daughter-in-law Pamala Bell (David Mark) of Mt. Gilead, as well as grandchildren David (Tiffany) Bell of Newark, Brandon (Krystle) Bell of Mt. Vernon, Weston Bell of Mt. Gilead, Anna (Eric) Tomlinson of Lexington, Nathan Bell of Mt. Gilead, Mary (Cody) Snavely of Butler, Clara Bell of Mt. Gilead, Joseph (Josie) Bell of Mt. Vernon, Cameron Bell, and Morgan Bell, and 18 Great grandchildren.
Jane and her husband David started their business Bellwood Nursery in 1956. Starting out with nothing but determination. Over the years they built Bellwood to be a successful business growing trees, shrubbery, and other plants that were sold at their store on Possum Run Road as well as used in their landscaping business. Many people around the area remember Jane and her sister Beverly at the store. Jane contributed to their business by taking care of the books, retail area, craft shop, and arranging flowers. Jane will also be remembered in the store at Christmas time, creating wreaths by hand and other Christmas decor with her sister Beverly.
The Bell family will receive family and friends at Snyder Funeral Home in Bellville Ohio on Saturday, June 21st from 11:00 am until noon. Burial will follow at Bellville Cemetery.
