James Wyatt

James Richard Wyatt, age 63, of Osage Beach, Missouri passed away on September 28, 2025 at Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care. He was born on February 13, 1962 in Mexico, Missouri, a son of James Richard and Alice Faye (Greenup) Wyatt.

James was raised by his mother Alice and step-father Carl Rook after his father died in a tragic accident. James was a 1980 graduate of Iberia High School and continued his education at Linn Technical in auto mechanics. He worked for many years in St. Louis with the airlines and later relocated to the Lake of Ozarks in the mid-1990s. He worked as a cook and kitchen manager for the Happy Fisherman as well as other local restaurants.

He loved to fish in his spare time, watch TV or just take a walk outside. He will be remember as always helping his neighbors when needed. He loved his family with everything he had, and they will miss him greatly.

James is survived by his daughter Amanda Wyatt; sons Carl Wyatt and Christian Wyatt; a sister Eva Shields (Delano); and a brother Donald; grandchildren Nevaeh Bushnell, Davon Bushnell, River Sykes and Ryder Sykes. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father Carl; and sisters Debbie Wyatt and Donna Workman.

Friends will be received from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Home-Camdenton.
