James Hurst

James “Fackie” Allen Hurst, age 78 departed this earthly tabernacle peacefully on Saturday,May 17, 2025 with family present by his side gracefully at his residence. Born in Greenville, South Carolina the youngest son of the late Marvin and Zora Hurst. He is survived by his caring and devoted wife Sandra R. Hurst of fifty-six years; their two daughters,Anissa (Jesus) Gonzalez and Ywanda Williams; five grandchildren: Brian Javon’e Allen, Alexandria Jhana’e, Sommer Juliyia’h, Romario Jesus & Gabriel Maceo;six great- grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews & great-great nieces and nephews, whom he regarded as his own daughters and sons.

Celebrating his life and legacy will be held 1pm on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Beasley Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Sean Dogan officiating. Public viewing will be on Friday from 10 am – 6 pm at the funeral home.
