Ja’khi’s Story

August 8, 2007 – June 1, 2025

Ja’khi was born on August 8, 2007. He gained his wings on Sunday, June 1, 2025. He was a loving son to Jabrell Perry and Allen Tiggett, raised by Leroy Haughton.

Ja’khi was a Junior at Weaver High School, where he was an exceptional starting Varsity Athlete in Basketball and Football. He played for Hoop Wave Basketball AAU and was a member of Supreme Athletes. He was an active member of For His Glory Church Ministries and was baptized on February 15, 2025. Ja’khi had a distinguishable sense of humor and was a friend to everyone he met. He was well known for his infectious smile, keen fashion sense, cooking with his grandmother, and entertaining his family and friends (on TikTok, karaoke, and talent shows)

He was the younger brother of Jani (Nini), older brother of Jy’eire (JyJy), Missoni (Soni), Ja’meire (JJ), Jeremih (Nunu), Aailyah (Jream), Sevyn (Sevvy), Legend (Ocho), Allen, Jr., Janae, and Saige.

He always told us to “LOCK IN”

He will be missed by His Loving Grandmother, Lori Perry, Grandparents, Trevor and Tammy Tiggett. Uncles, Kevin (Staria), Perry, Dominique Vinters, Cinque Sutherland and Tyshon Walton. Surely missed by his uncle /Daddy, Jeffrey Vinters. Aunts, Nicole Perry, Natasha (Naynay) Perry, Chasity (Kerwin) Leon. Many cousins, and his special friend Chanel.

He was predeceased by Rayshawn Phillip aka Tote.

Forever In Our Hearts

Ja’khi was the epidemy of the BEST. The best son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, godson, godbrother and friend. Big brother to all his 2HOTTS family, and a special shot out to Ray, Hari, Cash, and Jamari whom he loved and cherished & he would want you to keep every plan ya’ll have in place.

Everybody knows he loved his JP, whenever he called, she came.
