Jackie Folds

Mr. Jackie Wayne Folds, age 85, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Jackie was born on July 3, 1940, in Carrollton, Georgia to the late Raymond Folds and Inez Freeman Folds. A lifelong resident of the community, he dedicated many years of service to Lockheed, where he worked as a material expediter. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Jackie enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and found joy in being outdoors. He loved fishing, walking, spending time in his workshop, and tending to his yard. He will be remembered for his hardworking nature, quiet strength, and love for his family.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Joyce Folds; his son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Lisa Folds; his granddaughter, Brittany Marie Barnes; and his great-grandson, Slade Mason Barnes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Merlene Folds.
