Jack Bishop

Mr. Jack Bishop, 93, of Quincy, PA went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born November 13, 1931 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late Bruce M. and M. Elizabeth (Newcomer) Bishop. He was a lifelong resident of the Quincy, PA area.
Jack graduated from the Quincy High School with the Class of 1950 and served with the United States Army during the Korean War.
He and his wife of nearly 70 years, Ann L. (Simmers) Bishop, were married June 25, 1955, in Mont Alto, PA.
Jack was employed for 20 years with Railway Express and was the last Railway Express Agent in Waynesboro. He later worked for 20 years in maintenance at South Mountain Restoration Center.
He attended New Baltimore Church of God. He enjoyed reading, fishing, and in his earlier years, hunting. He loved any chance he could get to run his dogs. Most of all, Jack enjoyed his time spent with family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lesa S. Warren and her husband, Karl of Waynesboro, and many cousins.
Private graveside services will be held in Quincy Cemetery.
