Helen Hillaby

On April 19, 2025 Connie passed away at Parkwood Hospital, Palliative Care Unit.

Predeceased by her husband, Bob Hillaby, she was the dearly loved mom of Chris (Dan), Jennifer( Charles) and David (Maureen). Adored by her grandchildren, Bryan, Leila (Matt) and Olivia (Ben).

Connie loved all creatures and lovingly cared for many cats, dogs, hamsters and even a chinchilla over the years. She was an excellent cook and baker and enjoyed family gatherings. She was fun-loving with a good sense of humour, especially cherishing time with family and close friends. She treasured her granddaughter, Olivia whom she held close to her heart at all times. Connie was well-read in the topics of global politics and religions. She advocated for kindness, understanding and peace. She is already greatly missed by her family.

Cremation has taken place. Donations to S.A.L.T. Rescue Organization would be humbly accepted in lieu of flowers.
