It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Helen, June Fasano, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother and cherished friend who passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025 at the age of 94.
Helen June was born on July 24, 1931 in the Bronx NY. She was married to her love, Nicholas(who was predeceased in 2019) and moved to Nanuet in 1969 where she raised her family.
Helen June was a devoted mother to six children, a loving grandmother to 19 grandchildren and a proud great grandmother to 24 .
Her family was her pride and joy. She loved unconditionally. She lived for cooking and holidays spent with all of us. As a mother, she was patient, loving and kind. She leaves behind her legacy of everlasting love for all who were blessed to know her.
A woman of deep faith, Helen June was devoted to her church, Saint Anthony’s Nanuet, NY and community. Her faith in God and devotion to the blessed mother was the center of her life.
Helen June was a teacher’s assistant at the Nanuet school district. She was devoted to nurturing and guiding young minds embodying the spirit of kindness and patience. She made a profound impact on those young lives.
Her kindness, warmth and wisdom will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Nick Fasano; her children, Anthony (Rita), Nicholas (Marilyn), Frank (Virginia), Ricky (Robin), Annette (Joe) and June Fasano (Rob); her grandchildren, Anthony (Jill) Christopher (Antonella), Michael (Nina), Tara ( Kevin), Nicole (Andrew), Elizabeth (Todd), Nicholas, (Amelia), Frank (Linda), Thomas (Sara), Joseph, John (Carly), Richard, Stephen, Danielle, Dana, Gina, Joey (Bianca), Bobby and Mikey (Brooke); and her great grandchildren, Brianna, Adam, Penelope, Luca, Ava, Mia, Alexandra, Leo, James, Daniel, Emily, Christopher, Sabina, Isabel, Lillian, Thomas, John, Nicolas, Brooke, Leonardo, Olivia, Mathew, Freddie, Louis and Christopher.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you consider a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
