Harry R. Burke, 80
Harry R. Burke, 80, of Ashland, passed away Friday Morning on April 25th 2025 at Ohio Health Mansfield hospital.
Harry was born on May 14th 1944, in Oberlin, Ohio, to Eugene C. and Maxine (nee Jackson) Burke.
In his free time, Harry enjoyed fishing for perch on Lake Erie, a place he went to for over 70 years. He also enjoyed Chauffeuring the local Amish Community and helping out when he could.
Throughout his life, Harry was a man of faith.
He is survived by his children; Jennifer (Scott) Appell of Madison, IN, Todd (McKaela) Burke of Red Bud, IL, and Kendra Elliott of Ashland, Ohio; Nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; his siblings, David Burke of Tennessee and Tom Burke of Florida.
Harry is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Maxine.
Per the family’s wishes, a celebration of life will take place at the Ashland Moose Lodge on June 21st from 1pm to 5pm. Harry will be laid to rest in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, next to his parents.
