Grace H. England
Grace H. “Tuddy” England, age 95 of Clarence and formerly of Olin, passed away at the Clarence Nursing Home on Tuesday January 14, 2025. There will be a family graveside service at the Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16 at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence.
Tuddy was born March 13, 1929 in Illinois to Harold and Grace (Streeter) Mott.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Burmeister of New Liberty; granddaughter Kari (Gregg) Elsberry of Boone and their children Lauren and Jared; grandson Wade Burmeister of Phoenix, AZ and his daughter Isabella; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother; 3 sisters; former husband John England; and her son-in-law Randy Burmeister.
Tuddy had a knack for knitting and crocheting and made Afghans for many people. She enjoyed traveling in her earlier years, taking care of her garden, and was the owner of the Olin Café at one time. She also loved sports, especially the Iowa Hawkeyes, and anything her grandchildren participated in.
