Gerald Pryor

Bolton- Gerald T. Pryor, Sr., 76, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Leominster Hospital after a brief illness. He is survived by his sons, Gerald T. Pryor, Jr. & Jason D. Pryor; his sister, Jill L. Foisy & husband William; & 4 grandchildren, Jacob, Aisha, Taylor and Jordan.

Son of Robert & Greta (Gustafson) Pryor, Gerald was born in Malden Hospital. Growing up, he attended the local schools in Northborough, MA. His family relocated to Pomfret, CT in his senior year and he graduated from Putnam High School, Class of 1968. Following graduation, he attended Marlboro High/Technical School as a Post-Grad for a 2-year course and achieved a certificate in Electronics. From a young age, he could be seen tinkering with old TV’s and radios, often building and rebuilding them as his love for electronics grew throughout his life. American sportscars, notably Camaros and Mustangs, were a favorite past time of Gerald’s; he loved to work on and ultimately race them at the A&M. Gerald was also a member of the Clinton Fish & Game Club, from which his passion of big game hunting grew.

In his professional life, Gerald was the Superintendent of the Maintenance/Janitorial Department at Algonquin High School in Northborough, from where he obtained his high school diploma before relocating to CT.

Gerald will be missed by his friends and family very dearly.
