Fred Barrett

Fred Barrett 63, of Lawrenceburg Indiana passed away on Sunday April 27, 2025. Fred was born December 12,1961 in Oneida Kentucky. Fred was the 9th of 10 children born to his parents Robert and Doris Barrett nee Stewart.

He leaves behind his partner Of 34 years Tracy Phiester, four loving children Andrew Phiester( Christina Roberson), Tanner Phiester, Alayna Phiester and Chasity Flowers. Two granddaughters Hailey Yeakle and Kiley Yeakle. Three brothers James Barrett (Linda), Jesse Barrett (Melanie) and John Beckman. Three sisters Judy Clark, Karen Hamilton and Nayda Robinette. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Fred loved to make people laugh he always had a joke or a story to tell. He enjoyed his westerns, any kind of music, his snack cakes and a cold coke. He will always be known by his friends and family as “Froggy”.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Doris, two brothers, Ed Barrett and Ricky Barrett, a sister Sharon Metch, and his son Robert Andrew Barrett. He will Be greatly missed.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service to be held at the Greendale Cemetery, Friday, May 9, 2025 at 12 pm.

Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana.
