Francisco Arzadon Crisologo, 89, of Bonita CA, died peacefully on the evening of Monday, May 12, 2025. He was born February 6, 1936, in Vigan, Ilocos Sur in the Philippines. He was known to his family, friends and co-workers as Pacquito, Frank and sometimes Chris. He is survived by his daughter Jackie; son Vince; daughter-in-law Lyn; granddaughters Vanessa, Tori and Valerie: grandson Trevor; siblings Manuel, Antonio, and Mary; sister-in-law Nieves.

Frank is preceded in death by his wives Ellen and Vilma; parents Vicente and Marcelina and siblings Mariano, Letitia, Salvador and Esmarelda.

Frank studied law in college but before finishing joined the United States Navy. In his naval career he earned the following:

• Good Conduct Awards (4)

• Commander in Chief, U.S. Pacific Fleet Letter of Commendation

• Combat Action Ribbon

• Navy Commendation Ribbon

• Vietnam Service Medal (1 Bronze Star)

• Vietnam Campaign Medal (Device)

• National Defense Service Medal

After serving for 21 years, he retired from active duty as Senior Chief Petty Officer on July 31, 1980. From there he returned to civilian life working several jobs ending with a position at the Naval Supply Center for over 20 years. He exhibited a strong work ethic enabling him to provide for his family.

Frank was blessed with two wonderful wives. He married Apolonia (Ellen) in Jacksonville, FL in 1964 and Vilma in San Diego, CA in 1987. He lost both to cancer.

Frank loved his family and friends very much and enjoyed having them around as much as possible. This was especially true of his grandchildren, all of whom were a tremendous source of joy and pride for him.

Frank was known to be an excellent cook. When he wasn’t working, throwing or attending a party he could usually be found in his garden, a pastime he shared with both wives. He also liked to travel, sing and play poker. Over the years, he earned several associate’s degrees at Southwestern College.

Funeral arrangements have been made by Community Mortuary with the visitation taking place on Wednesday June 11, 4-8 pm with a Rosary at 6 pm. Funeral Mass is scheduled for Thursday June 12, 11:00 am at St. Therese Parish. Memorial Service follows that afternoon at 2:15 pm at Miramar National Cemetery.
