Flemon Murray

BOARDMAN – Flemon Murray, age 85, formerly of Warren, entered into eternal rest Monday, September 1, 2025 at home. He was born April 13, 1940 in Warren, the son of Ned and Mary W. (Frazier) Murray.

Flemon graduated from Warren G. Harding High School and retired from GM/Delphi Electronics. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a devoted member of Third Christian Church. He loved his church family deeply and found great joy in worship, fellowship, and supporting the church throughout his life. He also enjoyed watching football, talking politics, and was a formidable opponent in video games, still playing Madden Football up to a few short years ago. If you were serving pizza and barbecue wings, you could count him in with a smile.

Precious memories of Flemon live on with his six children: Roberta Wells (Jeff) of Hereford, Arizona, Flemon “Guy” T. (Claudia) of Columbus, Vincent B. (Conchetta) of Sedalia, Missouri, Eric (Stacey) of Niles, Michael of Warren, and Lantz D. Murray (Angela) of Boardman; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews; along with other friends and family who loved him dearly and remember him fondly.

Preceding him in death are his parents; his beloved wife of nearly forty years, Lillie (Ringold) Murray, whom he married June 29, 1982 and who passed December 26, 2021; two sisters, Annie B. Miles and Rose Hudson; and five brothers: John F., Ned, Elijah, William, and Joe Murray.

Calling hours are 10:00 to 11:00 am Friday, September 12, 2025 at Third Christian Church, 241 First Street S.W., Warren, Ohio 44485, with services following at 11:00 am September 12 at the church. Pastor Beverly Locke will officiate the service. All who knew and loved Flemon are welcome to attend and celebrate his remarkable life.

Entombment and final committal will follow at Pineview Memorial Park.

Arrangements are entrusted to Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road NE, Warren, Ohio 44483, 330-394-6200. Dedicated To Serving Your Loved Ones. This obituary may be viewed and condolences sent to www.statonborowskifuneralhome.com .
