Fernando Aunecita Dongallo, age 70, of Bay Point, California, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025.
Born in Oakland, California, on November 8, 1954, Fernando Dongallo, affectionately known as “Sonny” by his family and friends, graduated from Pacifica High School, where he earned his high school diploma. On November 22, 2010, he was united in marriage to Donna Sue Dongallo ( Nunnally), with whom he shared a lifelong friendship with.
Fernando Dongallo dedicated a significant part of his career to Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), where he worked as a foreman and was known for his leadership and commitment.
He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and spent his leisure time enjoying trucks, cars, fishing, boating, and hunting. His love for nature was matched only by his joy for life—he was known for his warm sense of humor, infectious laughter, and his ability to bring smiles to those around him.
He is survived by his loving children, Rachel Dongallo and Andrea Stornetta; his beloved grandchildren, Tybalt Clark, Felicity Clark, Chase Gibson, Annabella Stornetta, Christopher Stornetta, Ryan Stornetta, and Alissa Stornetta; and his dear siblings, Alex Dongallo, Anthony Dongallo, and Lee Dongallo.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ouimet Brothers Funeral Chapel, located at 4125 Clayton Road, Concord, CA 94521.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 2390 Grant Street, Concord, CA 94520.
