Eula Whisenhunt
Eula Faye (Linkous) Whisenhunt, age 82, a resident of Winthrop, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025, in McKinney, Texas.
Mrs. Whisenhunt was born on June 7, 1943, in Muldrow, Oklahoma. She was a Baptist and a professor at CCCUA in De Queen. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, genealogy, and visiting with friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Robert and Lora Belle England Linkous; husband, Don C. Whisenhunt; one sister, Helen Martin; and son-in-law, Eddy Patterson.
She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law, Aaron and wife Connie Whisenhunt of Anna, Texas, Robert Rye of Muldrow, Oklahoma, and Darrell Reese and wife Lisa of Corvallis, Montana; one daughter, Sheila Patterson of Muldrow, OK; grandchildren, James Rye, Denver Reese, Ryan Reese, Madison Reese, Trent Reese (Paige), Sierra Patterson, Savannah Combs, Aaron Conner Whisenhunt, Gracie Elizabeth Whisenhunt, Sunni Izabella Mason, Aleca Magby, Derreck Magby, and Trey Mason; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mrs. Whisenhunt will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 18, 2025, at Campground Cemetery in Winthrop, Arkansas, with Darrell Reese officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
After the graveside service, there will be a Celebration of Life for Mrs. Whisenhunt at the Winthrop School cafeteria with a meal provided.
